As second generation almond ranchers we are committed to cultivating the absolute best natural products in the market
Our Grandparents Mario and Cesira Bordin came from a small town in Italy where they farmed produce and wine grapes for sale. When they decided to journey to America is where our story begins. My father, Victor, was the first generation here to farm. He started with a small parcel of land and planted almonds. From early on in my childhood, I knew I wanted to keep the family business going to continue the family traditions.
The Bordin – Huitt Almond Ranch began in 1989 and has been brought to life with the help of my three children Joseph, Emily and “Lil” Marie Huitt.
Our family enjoys the harvesting of almonds, walnuts and extracting honey. They all agree that shaking the almond trees is the best part of the job. We like to watch the nuts fall!

My son Joseph, has been immersed in the bee business since kindergarten when he won first place for his science fair project on honey. He has gone on to win the California State Science Fair in Los Angeles 3 years in a row with his science experiments with bees and honey production. In 2015 he was a finalist in the National Science Fair and was named the top 30 winner at Nationals with his science experiment entitled, “Honey! Where is all the Honey?” The Effect of Stored Pollen on Honey Production and “Honey Who Shrunk the Bee Population?” Joseph has taken over the honey production side of the business, producing all kinds of delicious tasting honey in a wide range of flavors. We are passionate about farming NON-GMO and natural products for families to enjoy like we did growing up. Quality is our mission and we love sharing our products with families across the country.
I hope you enjoy our products as much as we love producing them for you.
